What are your rates?
We offer an amazing discount if you book with our venue, too! If you have booked or are interested in booking your wedding at Loft on Lake, you can request our rate sheet. If you are interested in our services and not planning on using Loft on Lake as your venue, we can provide pricing upon request.
What is a typical timeline?
Our photography team can meet you wherever and whenever (This may be the home, hotel room, bridal suite or wherever the Bride & Groom are getting ready - or to meet at your first location.) The photography team can stage and capture a 'first look' or if you prefer to or not – the team can also photograph the Bride/Bridesmaids & Groom/Groomsmen separately. The photographers travel with the wedding party to each location, this can be prior to venue arrival or during cocktail hour. The photographers will stick to the timeline established by the planner, caterer, and vendors so make sure the photographers have this information and they won't miss anything!
Where can we take photos with our wedding party?
LoftyWeddings has photographed in many locations around the city of Chicago, some areas in close proximity to Loft on Lake and other being popular landmarks around Chicago of sentimental value. You can see examples of these different places here!
What is a shot-list?
Brides & Grooms (even parents, friends and family) may have specific photo ideas that are of sentimental importance. Family is everything and we want all of those important group family photos to be taken. Jessie will coordinate the family shot list ahead of time and any other photos by request. She will go over with the photography team to ensure all needs are met so the process goes quickly and painlessly!
Do you offer discounts?
We do extend a discount on our services when you book both Loft on Lake venue and LoftyWeddings Photography. This discount applies when both the ceremony and wedding reception are held at Loft on Lake. Prices reflect the cost of shooting your wedding, processing digital files, adjusting and retouching where necessary, uploading final high-resolution digital files to our website.
How many photographers come with a package?
Our talented team of photographers and videographers bring creative energy plus years of experience to your wedding, providing everything from basic coverage to customized photography and full video productions. Steve Garrett is lead the photographer with more than 30 years of professional photography experience. Ramona, is our all-star female Associate Photographer, she calmly captures intimate moments and the feminine touches. Aldo, our Assistant Photographer, photographs all events held at Loft on Lake, and has 3 years of wedding photography experience with LoftyWeddings. Evan Garrett, Videographer, can record just the unforgettable moments, or the entirety of your wedding day. Jessie Garrett, Loft on Lake's Venue Liaison will help correspond and coordinate all photography related conversations, Jessie is also a Graphic Designer, Photographer and skilled re-toucher; and elevates photos using editing techniques that bring beauty to the otherwise un-retouched images.
